Visit by the Central Coast Chapter
On Wednesday 9th May 2018 we met up for a chat over dinner at the West Diggers Club.
20 members of the Central Coast Chapter and 18 of our members had a very enjoyable evening together discussing all topics from our ancestors and what they had done to achieve notoriety to things like overseas trips and who will possibly win the footy match next weekend.
Short speeches were given by both Presidents and a couple of other members and we all went home in a jolly mood at about 9pm.
They planned to visit the First Fleet Memorial Gardens at Wallabadah the next day and then lunch was planned at Nundle. We hope they enjoyed their visit to our part of the world.

Hi everyone, Below is an email received from the Mid North Coast Chapter.
Diana,
I want to thank you and Barbara Hodgson for your hospitality in Tamworth this week. This was our first meeting with members of another Chapter and you made it a refreshing departure from our routine.
Our visit to Wallabadah was the first for most, including my wife and myself. While we had seen photos of the Memorial, we were impressed by its size and thoughtfully beautiful layout. It was well worth the trip.
Our visit to Nundle was also a delight. Fortunately, we had planned tours of the Woollen Mill and the Mt Misery mine. Both were fascinating and complemented the quirkiness of the whole village.
Our visit to Calala Cottage in Tamworth on Friday morning left us spellbound with its marvellous history and artefacts.
Thank you for contributing to three days of Fellowship. We look forward to a visit by your Chapter to the Mid North Coast – your neighbours over the hill.
Regards,
Malcolm Tompson
President, Mid North Coast Chapter of FFF
