Meeting Aims and Objectives.

The Fellowship of First Fleeters is non-political, non-sectarian and we do not raise funds.

The purpose of the Chapter is to provide regular meetings and activities for fellowship and development of historical and cultural interests among First Fleeters.

Membership.

Membership is for first fleeters, associates (partners) and friends to meet, share activities and interests, and enjoy good company.

Meeting Format.

Meetings are held Bi-Monthly on the first Saturday of February, April, June, August, October and December.

At each meeting there is a short Business Session for the Chapter.

A Guest Speaker is introduced to give a talk followed by a question and answer session. Followed by a sociable afternoon tea, Guests are very welcome.

Activities.

Our Birthday is celebrated in April, usually at an interesting venue.

At other times an outing may be arranged by the Activities Officer — it may be a picnic, a visit of historical interest in the area, or a scenic tour.

Members are kept informed of these events at the regular meetings and in the Newsletter.

Membership Fee.

There is an Annual Membership Fee of $36 for Ordinary Members of the Foundation of First Fleeters and $26 for Pensioners, Associates and Friends. For new members there is an additional $10 joining fee. The cost of a badge is an extra $16.

Having joined the Foundation, Chapter membership is free and the Chapter receives a portion of your Foundation membership fee.

The Committee.

The Committee is elected each August at the Annual General Meeting.

Member Involvement

All members are encouraged to take an active part in the Chapter through their interests and diversity. Contributions and suggestions make the Chapter unique.

Get Social with us!

New members and interested people are always welcome at our meetings. If you have a First Fleet Ancestor or you are interested in our aims, there is a membership catagory for you

Share your thoughts!

At most of our meetings we have someone speak either on their own ancestor and what their life was about or a topic relating to the early years of the colonisation of Australia or Norfolk Island.
