The late Stephen Docking served our Chapter as Treasurer from 2012 to 2014.

He was born 20th May 1954 and died 6th June 2015, age 61.

His funeral was held at the Southside Uniting Church on Goonoo Goonoo Rd Tamworth on Saturday 13th June 2015.

We really did not know much about Stephen except that he enjoyed travelling to far flung places and he enjoyed his association with the Tamworth Musical Society.

At his funeral it was also disclosed that he was an avid collector of model cars, a very keen supporter of his Church, a clever stage builder and a proud grandfather of a young Granddaughter.

The Tamworth Musical Society turned out in mass and led the congregation in the song “Climb Every Mountain” and performed a guard of honour.

Stephen was part of the Church choir and the choir, consisting of 12 men rendered a very moving rendition of “The Lord is My Shepherd”.

Not only will Stephen be missed by us but by many other organisations and his family members.
